learning course, held at our relaxing mountain retreat in Spain.
You'll get 'hands-on' with expert teachers to learn head and neck
massage techniques, theory and practice of this fast-growing therapy.
Headaches
are one of the most common stress related conditions and are suffered by
95% of the population at some time or other. By massaging the face,
scalp, neck and shoulders, headaches and eyestrain can be relieved,
concentration improved, muscle tension removed , leaving a sense of
general well being. It also helps restore joint movement by stretching
and moving the tissues of the neck and shoulders.
The
physical benefits of working on the face, neck, scalp and shoulders, are
that it produces a relaxation within the muscles, breaking down fibrous
adhesions, releasing toxins from tense muscles and relieving neck and
shoulder stiffness.
It also
increases oxygen to the muscles, stimulates lymphatic flow, encourages
the growth of the hair and helps relieve eye strain, tinnitus, jaw ache,
sinus congestion and insomnia.
Psychologically, it creates a sense of calm and tranquillity, improving
concentration and alertness and reducing anxiety. It also helps relieve
mental tiredness, edginess and depression.
